BIOGRAPHY

20 years ago I began my acting career doing improv in Chicago. In 1997-98, I toured the U.S. with Shenandoah Shakespeare, performing 3 plays in repertory. Soon, thereafter, I earned my MFA in acting from the Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard/Moscow Art Theatre School, where I trained in voice with Nancy Houfek, and was first exposed to the work of Catherine Fitzmaurice, one of the most influential voice trainers of the last 40 years.

After performing professionally and teaching at the university level in the Boston area for 10 years,
I relocated to Switzerland with my family. During the summers of 2013 & 2014, I trained with Catherine Fitzmaurice, Saul Kotzubei, and other Master Teachers of Fitzmaurice Voicework®,  thus joining the first group of teachers in Europe certified to teach this effective, efficient approach to voice.

Currently, I teach acting classes, do private voice coaching, and teach public speaking in the personal
development module of the Executive MBA program, University of Lausanne (since 2015) and Geneva School of Diplomacy (autumn 2017), and developing a new course for HEC University of Lausanne, Theatre Skills for Managers (autumn 2017).
